Free offline point of sale for a small business
An offline point of sale can be more dependable than a cloud system when connectivity is unreliable, budgets are tight, or the owner wants to retain control of business records. Fleto POS stores the catalog, sales, store credit, and closeouts in the browser. No account is required, but device-owned data also makes regular backups the business owner’s responsibility.

Step by step
Prepare one counter device
Use a computer, tablet, or phone that stays at the counter. Open Fleto POS online once so the app can install, then complete a test sale with the network turned off.
Start with a small catalog
Enter the twenty products or services sold most often. Include price, cost, stock, unit, and barcode. Import the remainder with the CSV template after the basic workflow fits the business.
Open a cash shift
Record opening cash before the first sale. Use explicit cash-in and cash-out movements for expenses or non-sale deposits so the closeout remains understandable.
Record the payment that happened
Choose cash, transfer, external terminal, mixed payment, or store credit. Fleto does not process cards; a bank terminal remains separate. Receipts are operational and are not tax invoices.
Back up at close
Download the JSON backup after closing the register and keep a copy away from the device. Supported browsers can reuse a user-selected local backup file.

- Catalog and stock reviewed
- Printer configured if needed
- A backup owner is assigned
- Staff understands local PINs do not encrypt data
Privacy and limits
These tools do not require an account. Business data stays on the device unless you choose to open an external provider. Keep your own backups and verify every document or calculation before relying on it in a real operation.
