Create product labels and barcodes that scan
A useful label combines readable text, a stable identifier, and a code that the intended equipment can scan. Fleto Labels and QR/Barcode run in the browser and accept CSV batches. Final quality still depends on the data, code type, printed size, printer, and a physical test.

Step by step
Assign a stable identifier
Use a unique internal SKU. Preserve a valid commercial barcode when one already exists; do not invent a UPC or EAN that could be confused with a registered code. Code 128 is practical for internal identifiers.
Clean the CSV
Keep headers consistent and review duplicates, stray characters, and empty rows. Export the catalog from Fleto POS or start with the downloadable template.
Choose the right output
Use small labels for shelves or products, 4×6 for shipping, and A4 sheets when producing several labels on a standard office printer.
Calibrate at actual size
Print at 100% with “fit to page” disabled. Measure the calibration reference and correct margins or scale before producing a large batch.
Verify with real equipment
Scan samples at several angles with the checkout reader that will actually be used. Keep the text understandable in case a code is damaged.

Privacy and limits
These tools do not require an account. Business data stays on the device unless you choose to open an external provider. Keep your own backups and verify every document or calculation before relying on it in a real operation.
